This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, but I’ve always been a bit nervous. In the end, the process was so much easier than I had thought. @kicad.eda software was intuitive, @pcbway made ordering the boards fast and easy, and @digikey shipped all the components the same day I ordered them. Soldering the components to the board was a bit of a challenge, but I managed to pull it off. There were some things I could’ve improved and some mistakes I could only have learned from by doing. In the end the only way for me to stop planning on making a pcb and actually doing it was to just do it!

Since you are customing PCB, why don’t you bulid from a single chip

Watch out, every 40 something days the millis buffer on the arduino overflows and it crashes. Try and make it restart every once in a while.

Which RTC chip you used ? How did you do Compensation for frequency drift due to temperature, due to which clock looses or gains time ?
