    not a single time i have seen my soldering wick, sucking up the solder like in this video (where it just coats the entire braid). i added enough flux and even tried multiple times adding more solder.
    i don’t know if my soldering braid or my soldering iron is to blame

  3. Low melt solder has been my go to depending on what job I’m doing. Like let’s say you are replacing a 12vhpwr. Definitely the easiest way. 2 minutes and its out with minimal heating to the board and its super easy to clean off after.

  5. Wrong ways to remove solder. It never works well…. you get about 30-50% of old solder removed the way this guy demos. Not a good video
