  2. This was a horrible video that glazed over alot of the hiccups with esphome and home assistant.

  3. I didn’t know esp home was an open source project. That makes it a lot cooler.

  4. Love the video! I need to make some smart buttons so bad. But for the garage door button you could have just used your relay to trigger the wall button. The wireless button gives you more mounting flexibility but the spot you picked is exactly where to put it if you wanted to just tie in to the open/close wall button without needing the wireless remote.
